DecentlyMU Game Rules

Please read the game rules carefully.
We do not accept excuses like 'I didn't know about these Rules'.

Account

Offensive character names
The character and guild names you choose must not contain any offensive language at all. Sexual, racism or in any way discriminatory content are not tolerated, as well as excessive swearing. We won't change your name, we will ban you. If you think it might break this rule, it probably will. Don't use it.

Multiple registrations
There is no reason using more than 5 accounts. If you are caught using too many accounts (above 5), all your accounts will lead to a ban and IP-range ban.

Responsibility
You take full responsibility for whatever happens with your account. It's you who must keep hackers, evil friends, younger brothers and other potential threats away from your account. The moment you have registered at InsaniaMU you agree not to share your account to anyone. If any item is missing from your account The Staff is not responsible.

IP Proxies
It's strictly forbidden to using a proxy to login into game. If in our system has been logged a IP Proxy we will make sure to ban the whole proxy network IPs plus your accounts.

Sharing accounts
You are not allowed to share accounts with other players. This is for both our sake, and you own safety. You don't want to lose your account of some misunderstanding, and we sure don't want to hear you complaining about it.

Trading, selling, giving away
This falls under sharing accounts. You are not allowed to trade, sell, buy or even give away accounts or items for real money. All accounts under the IP will be temporarily banned and the accounts involved will be deleted. Trading/selling/buying accounts or items between our sister servers will lead to temporarily or permanent account ban or even the deletion of it.

Email and password
The email address and password you choose must be unique and reachable. Remember your password and email and do not share them with anyone.

Secret question & answer
The secret question and answer is used for recovering a lost password. Do not forget your secret question and answer.

Admins and Game Masters

Follow GM requests
If a Game Master requests from you to show your item (sword, armor & etc) then you're supposed to listen and follow the order.

Do not ask to become one
Asking, begging or otherwise bothering us about this subject will lead to a temporary ban. Be sure not to be fooled by anyone impersonating us, asking you to become an admin or game master.

Bans and warnings
Breaking the rules leads to either a warning or a ban. This decision is taken by us and is definite. You may explain your behavior in a rational way, but whining and complaining will only lead to an extended ban. You can submit a ban appeal in our forums unless you have been advertising or insulted The Staff.

Asking favors
Admins and Game Masters is not able to do player's favors unless it is to fix an issue or other reason related to a problem. It's forbidden asking for items, credits, stats or anything material related from an Admin or Game Master.

Fooling and lying
Fooling or lying to Admins and Game Masters is not allowed. Providing false information such lost items or anything else will lead to account ban.

Fake admins, impersonators
It is strictly forbidden to impersonate an Admin or Game Master of DecentlyMU. This means not only the name, but also contacting players outside of our game and forum, offering them bonuses and such. It is also the players responsibility not to fall for these tricks. We will never contact you outside of DecentlyMU or inside, and we will never ask for your password. Be sure not follow suspicious links sent to you outside or inside of the game.

Hacking, exploits and bugs

Hacks
Using autohotkey, macros or any type of third party software that plays the game for you, or otherwise manipulates game play experience is forbidden.

Buying/selling/giving away
It is strictly forbidden to sell/buy or give away the hack to other players. Buying/selling/giving away the cheat will lead to permanent account ban. If you have a working cheat send it to olegmuonline96@gmail.com and note your account name to get rewarded.

Exploits
Hacking the game or in any way taking advantage of bugs and exploits is strictly forbidden. Even asking for these kind of things will lead to severe punishment. Not to mention distributing hacks or teaching the exploit to others! Hacks, bugs and exploits are delt with as soon as we become aware of them.

Reporting bugs
If you do happen to find a bug, hack or anything which can be abused in the game to players advantage, you *must* contact us! We will be most grateful for your cooperation!

Stats Screenshot
When a Game Master asking you to take a screenshot of your character,you will have to do it immediately and PM it to them,in their PMs. (Edited Screenshots gonna be punished with ban,if permanent depends on the reason you edited it)

Lag abusing
You are not allowed to create/make lags in order to kill players faster, of course, if someone will be reported, we will trace his IP, to check from where he is, so we will avoid banning users who are "toooo far from the server" or "who has very bad intenet".

Simulating Auto Combo/Auto Potion

It is forbidden to simulate AP/AC sentences. If you will be caught doing that, we will temporary ban you.

Castle Siege

Transformation Rings
Using of all types of Transformation Rings is not allowed inside of the Castle.

Unicorn / Dinorant Bug / Fenrir pet
Using of Unicorn / Dinorant Bug / Fenrir pet is not allowed inside of the Castle.

Guild Registrations
No one is allowed to register fake guilds in Castle Siege.

Crown / Seal
Dropping items and the activation of items like the Gate per Kalima which block the Switches or Seal are not allowed. Sealing with dark horse at Castle Siege Event is forbidden too.

Chat

General
Under any circumstances do not insult or harass other players. Your character or account will lead to temporary or permanent ban depending on the insulting / harassment. You can report someone for insulting or if harassing you. All you have to do is to take a full chat log from the conversation and post it in our forums or mail us at olegmuonline96@gmail.com

Advertising
You are not allowed to advertise other sites(**** sites included) or game and even talking about it in-game or forum. Advertising, Discussing other gaming servers will lead to permanent account and IP-range ban.

Global chat (/post)
You are not allowed to spam via POST command, posting more than 5 messages in a minute is understandable, but 20-30 messages in a minute is treated with temporary account ban.

Staff/Server Disrespect
If you don't like the Server, you are free to leave anytime without insulting us. Disrespecting the server or a Staff Member just because you are in a bad mood, found a bug or have your character banned is not acceptable. Playing in bad mood is already a wrong thing to do. Do not expect forgiveness if you are caught insulting the Server or any of its Staff Members. This is valid anywhere, not just when talking directly to a Staff member. If you have any complaints about a staff member, feel free to send a private message to the administration or post new thread in Staff Report section, but be reminded that we accept only genuine proofs.

Vote system

Multiple accounts / IP Proxies
You are not allowed to vote with multiple accounts and with IP Proxy. Voting with multiple accounts/IP Proxies will lead to permanent account ban.

Captcha code
Remember to type the captcha code correctly. People who only click link and don't enter the text to vote will be banned permanently by account.

This page does not cover all the rules. If a GM find an unfitting behavior, he or she will punish the player accordingly.

The Game Rules are subjected to change at any times and players are responsible to accustom to the changes.
